And when your gun has a damage above 1800 and a fire rate this high, while producing just a tiny bit of noise - it's a *chef's kiss*. The most awesome feature in this gun, in combination with being less noisy, is that, it has a fantastic rate of fire. Or should I say it attracts the least amount of virals when you are out and about. Winterstorm doesn't have a silencer but in a way it is the quietest of rest of the rifles in game. I came to the realisation that the features of being silent doesn't outweigh the benefits of a high rate of fire. I've spent significant amounts of time with each and every AR in this game playing story and dlc quests. Volkan Assault Rifle's the gun I've primarily played more than half of the game with and it used to be my favourite, until I tried Winterstorm.

Oh and for the money problem, get the haggling skills from survivor tree, then keep selling the free stuff your quartermaster gives you (resets after sleeping) until you're rich. That's it, these are highest dmg guns in the game. Buy the orange rarity version, i recommend getting at least 3 because many weapons (including the one in the picture requires one to craft it and these rifles are the best to use for crafting it. At power level 2 get engraved semi auto shotgun and engraved barrel smg, they have a highest dmg value at this rank, sleep and visit shop until you spawn orange rarity of both, buy how many you want of them then move on to power rank 3 and get orange rarity of golden double barrel shotgun (best double barrel) and golden German pistol (best handgun), buy as many as you want then move to power lvl 4, at this power level the advanced police rifle is at its strongest, 584 dmg. Once you're survivor rank 25, now is the time to talk about those op guns, aim for orange rarity of them. Don't turn in too many packages at once, do 100 per quartermaster visit remember to switch to nightmare before delivering them for xp boost. Max out survivor rank by doing stuffed turtle. Play until first volatile chase, this unlocked day to night cycles, do not fight anything so your power rank does not increase, ut has to be 2 for this to work.
